P7 have been working on animations as part of RME and Health.  David an animator came in and helped us.  There are more on our flickr site.  Not all have sound, as we had a few technical problems!

On the 11th of June we held a sports day in our playground. We had 12 different activities some of these were the egg and spoon race, sack race , space hopper race , batton  race and lots more. We went in our houses which are Antonine , Dorrator , Mariner and Forth. We had to do each actiity as fast as we could to get lots of points.In the end Mariner came 4th , Antonine came 3rd , Forth came 2nd and that meant Dorrator came 1st. We all had a great time and can’t wait until next year!

Well so far we have been making fruit kebabs, chicken noodle soup and meatballs and pasta. How did it taste? The fruit kebabs I wasn’t too sure, the chicken noodle soup was FAB! The meatballs and pasta were GREAT! I hope that the chicken soup gets out on the blog. – Shannon

I love cooking and we have made lots of yummy food. The noodle soup was mny favourite. We also made smoothies, fruit kebabs, amazing meatballs and it was good fun. – Rebecca

Last week at cooking club we made amazing meatballs. They tasted so delicious that I ate them all up. – Sophie

On the 7th of november p5/6 had a assembly about the human body.  scott had a experiment and scott and cameron and finlay had to smell some stuff!

They told us lots of facts about our bodies and how to stay healthy.  The class also made animations and we hope to add them to the blog soon.

On Tuesday 30^th September P3 sold smoothies at the tuck shop!  We made 3 kinds using different fruits.  Yellow Yellow Creamy Fellow had melon, pear and banana in it.  It was the most popular and sold out really quickly!  The Fruit Blast Off had kiwi, melon and cherries in it.  It was a reddish pink colour!  Red Berry Blast had banana, kiwi and blackberries in it.  It tasted great!  We are selling our smoothies again on Thursday so we will see you then!   

Food Lab came to visit us last week and we made fruit smoothies.  We have been learning about healthy eating as part of our health topic.  We were put in groups and chose the ingredients for our smoothie.  Our smoothie had strawberries, bananas, yoghurt, cantaloupe melon and orange juice.  It was pink and tasted yummy!  We had great fun!  By Rene

Sometime in May P4/3 planted sunflowers into individual pots.  We filled the pots with soil and then made a hole for the seed.  We put 2 seeds in each pot and put them into our new greenhouse!  We made sure that we gave the plants enough water and checked them every few days.  It took them a few weeks to start growing.  Last week we were able to take them home and plant them against a wall or fence so they can grow tall. 

P6s went orientering at callendor park. There were three courses.  My faivirout was the one around the lake. It was  on the 13th May 2008.  Lots of schools went we had our lunch and went home.

P6s went orientering at Callendar Park. The park was split up into sections and each bit had diffrent courses to do. One was round the lake and the other past callender house, anotheer one infront of it and another one behind it. Plus one up in the woods. My favourite course was the one around the lake. There was a little path next to it that was in the trees on the lekt of the lake if you look at it from  the boat platform. We were timed. Scott and Charlie was the quickest. It was on the 13th which was my birthday. We had our lunch on a hill and after that, we got to roll down it. it was fun.
