sizzling assembly by p5

1.My favourite part of the assembly was when we were all walking down the catwalk.

2.The funnieist thing about the assembly was when Aidan was trying to get down the stairs in his robot costume and then everyone was laughing and then everyone started clapping when he got down the stairs.

3.I loved everyones outfits because they looked very cool.

4.The best thing was the whole assembly!

P5’s Rocking Assembly

As you may know p5’s chilli assembly was on the 6th of November but let me tell you my favourite part was the fashion show. Fab costumes here, there, everywhere as we modeled it down the red carpet. As the lights flashed over us and peoples head saying wow! look at those fab costumes made by those fab designers. I guess you could imagine it in the Falkirk Hearld Fab costumes by p5’s best designers. Well at least you can imagine it right. Anyway it was reallly fun. By Emily

My favourite part in the recycling assembly was taking part in the catwalk. I also liked making my recycled costume and wearing it. We also made our own instrument which i enjoyed playing.

rainforest winners

P6 have made rainforests villages for their homework tasks. There was a competition and p5 and p7 voted for their favourite village and wrote it on a post it note.

there were three winners in first place was Kyle, in second place was Meighan and in third place was Scott. One of Kyles notes were because he used lots of detail. Also one of Meighans were you spent alot of time on it and you have used your brain, and finally one of Scotts were it must have taken alot of time and effort.

harvest parcels

on Friday 2nd of October we were delivering harvest parcels and one door was my auntie and one door was my nanna and pappa. it was great fun but sadly we didnt get any photos but the best thing was we all had a great thing hope you like my writing? thank you for reading it.

P6 show off their creative side!

P6 were set the challenge to design a 3D model of a rainforest village. They were allowed to use any materials they found at home and be as creative as they liked. This was a joint homework task which involved help from parents, family and friends! A huge thank you to all those who helped P6 create their magnificent masterpieces!

Roald Dahl fun in P5!

Roald Dahl Week

1. We made B.F.G [Big Friendly Giant] ears.

2. We made Mrs Twit eye-ball cakes.

3. We read Fantastic Mr Fox and The Twits for reading. IT WAS FUN!

4. We are now reading the B.F.G in class. It is funny and a bit scary and a tiny bit sad.

How to make B.F.G ears –

1^st you need a paint brush, pink and white paint, 2 paper plates, a hair band and glue.

2^nd you paint both sides of your paper plates and glue them on to your hair band.

3^rd once you have done that leave it to dry.

Then you will have your own B.F.G ears!

P5 Celebrate Roald Dahl Day!

Roald Dahl

I enjoyed when we made our sparkly golden tickets because I liked putting the shiny beads on it. I liked making the big pink BFG ears and i liked putting on the hairy pink pipe cleaners. I loved making the delcious chocolate bar, it looked so good I wanted to eat the yummy looking chocolate bar. I really enjoyed reading exciting Roald Dahl books. They were very interesting. I had fun making Mrs Twits eye balls. It was a good way to finish the week.

For Roald Dahl Week this is what we did -

We made Golden tickets which are out of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, although we chose how we made them.
We also made BFG ears.
We had to paint them two different colours, they were light pink and a darker pink but not too dark of a pink.
We had topic homework to do with Roald Dahl.
My favourite bit of this fantastic week about Roald Dahl was the homework. It was brilliant! By Lauren

P3 make tasty doughnuts!

Primary 3 made lots of profit from their enterprise recipe book and decided to buy a doughnut maker for the school. We followed the instructions carefully and the doughnuts tasted delicious!! Yum Yum!! We can’t wait to make them again next year in P4!!
