Over the past few weeks Primary 3 have been creating a recipe book as part of their enterprise project – Great Family Foods to Cook. The recipe book contains 21 delicious family recipes including starters, main courses and desserts and is available to buy for just £3.50. All the recipes have been carefully selected by the pupils of Primary 3 and hold a special meaning. It also contains useful cooking tips, ratings, a dictionary and safety advice for younger chefs. The recipe book has been professionally printed in full colour and has easy to use spiral binding. Primary 3 have invited all the classes to attend the official launch of the recipe book on Monday 8th June and will be making some of the fantastic recipes from the book to taste. You can buy the book on the day.

Great blog. We’ve just started ours and always looking for ideas and new things to add. We’ll keep checking back for updates.

    Hi P3,

I had great fun selling the cookbook and making the food to demonstrate our recipes to all the family and friends who attended our launch. It has been an interesting topic.

I can’t wait to try Deans truffles – what are you dying to try?

Hi Primary 3, Thanks for that wonderful cooking you all did, you did a great job all of you. I am glad we got home in time to be able to come and visit you all.
So glad to see children enjoying themselves doing what us mums do almost everyday, and everyone has put a lot of effort into the production of the book.
Well Done everyone,,, keep up the good work!!!

I really enjoyed the recipe book launch i hope the rest of the school and adults thought so as well. There was chocolate crispy cakes, banoffee pie, funky fajitas and sticks and dips. We sold all our recipe books and had a good time.
