P5and 7 came into p6’s classroom and joined in for a burns afternoon some pupils said their poems then we sung the wellie boot song and dark isle then sat down to a wee drop haggis, neeps and tatties. Some of them had extras then we made the boys say their poems. by Saz cole

Sounds like a braw afternoon! I have to say, I reckon your plates look alot cleaner than our plates after our Burns Supper – not too many haggis fans at Dunipace!
We sang the Wellie Boot song as well, but I don’t think I’ve heard the Dark Isle before.
