We planted over 20 silver birch saplings in the grass at the front of the school near the main entrance. We had to roll back the grass, dig a hole, place the root of sapling [yong tree] into the hole. Fill the hole up with soil and replace the grass. We then put yoghurt pots with red markings around the base of the tree to show children where they are in the ground. The tubs mark where each treeis sono one will damage it and it will get a chance to grow into a beautiful silver birch tree. Plese watch out for the baby trees and give them a chance to grow!
