On Monday 27th October, four people went outside to help Mr Goodsir (our janitor) , Mr Nicol (Mrs Nicol’s husband) and Mr Elliot build a planter for growing vegetables. We all had turns of the drill to drill the screws in the wood. In the end it was built but we had to move it and it WAS REALLY HEAVY! After we had moved it we then got to paint it. It was FUN!

It was really fun! We will be planting carrots, potatoes and onions.

We don’t have a vegetable garden at school, although the primary school next door to us does. What I was thinking of was because I know that it snows in Scotland so I didn’t know if the vegetables would be alright during winter or if you have to do anything special to protect them.
