Planets Project

Pluto is the furthest away planet from the sun and is the smallest planet in our solar system. So small it has lost it is now a dwarf planet. It was discovered by Clyde W. Tombaugh. It was discovered on February 18th 1930 and is 5,913,520,000 km away from the sun.

P3/4’s Projects

P3/4 are learning how to write a book review. They will be doing this with their library books and sheets. Next week they will be making bird cake for feeding the birds in winter. The coating cones will be in the quiet area and the wild life garden.

Card making Group

 Since re-starting after a short winter break, the members of the group have been busy making a variety of cards. These include birthday, new baby and, of course, Mothers Day cards.
Cards will be on sale outside the rainbow room at morning intervals starting on march 1st.

Country Dancing

Country Dancing is on a Monday from 3.p.m -4.p.m.  It is run by Mrs. Crawford. We perform in front of the whole school at every Scottish assembly. The most popular dance is The Doune.
