My class, in art did a painting of fruit. First we painted a piece of paper in the colour of our fruit then, we ripped it to pieces last, we got another piece of paper and stuck the bits in the shape of our shape.

This sounds a bit like the way Eric Carle does the artwork for his books. How did your fruit look – were they life like, or did they look a bit cubist (like Picasso)? Did you take photos?
